Bošana
The small charming village of Bošana is located a few kilometres north-west of the town of Pag, along the old road that was once the only road leading from Pag to Novalja.
The characteristic landscape of this area jealously hides beautiful pebble and sandy beaches which are characterized by a fascinating view of the Bay of Pag and the magnificent Velebit Mountain. The peaks of the rocks that rise guardians above the beaches and their steep ends that plunge into the sea provide an atmosphere of comfort and peace.
Close to Bošana, in the north-west direction, rises St. Vid, the highest peak of the island of Pag, and right next to Bošana is the Dubrava – Hanzine Special Forest Vegetation Reserve, declared as landscape of significant importance in 1988. The biggest special feature of the Reserve is the well-preserved original holm oak forest.
