27.04 Hiking Life on Mars Trail + Via Ferrata
The tour begins near Metajna, on Ručica beach, one of the most famous beaches of the island of Pag, where the guide will be waiting with all the necessary equipment. The tour departs toward Beriknica beach where the first break is planned. After the break, the tour continues towards Slana bay. As you approach the beach, you will cross the first marine Via ferrata in Croatia. The height of the ferrata is between 1 and 2 metres above the 1m deep sea. It is 100m long and secured by iron rungs and cables. After the Via ferrata, the route continues along the ridge, towards a vantage point where you will have time to relax, take photos and enjoy the view of the stunning moonlike landscape. After the break, return towards the starting point is planned, along the impressive climbing site rock Stogaj.

The programme starts at the very end of Stara Novalja, near the former ferry port, and continues along a macadam path towards the north-western side of the island of Pag and the cove of Svetojanj, with its 6th century Byzantine fortress which attests to the strategic importance of the area during the Eastern Roman Empire. The fortress served to control the safety of sailing in the Podvelebit Channel. It takes about an hour of hiking to get to the fortress, but it is well worth while once you see the magnificent view of the Velebit Mountain and its Channel.

The programme starts at Ručica beach. The tour continues along the karst landscape of the Pag Bay towards Stogaj, a peculiarly shaped rock that attracts a large number of mountaineers. The route continues towards the beach Beriknica, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, known for its natural installation consisting of three unusual rock patterns created by the millennial exposure to the “bura” wind. The trail continues towards the Slana Bay, overlooked by remnants of a World War Two concentration camp, and the Seline Bay, which offers a wonderful view of the Podvelebit Channel. The tour ends at its starting point, reached by a hike of the upper side of the island along the Podvelebit Channel.

The tour starts at Ručica beach, where a professional guide informs the group about the itinerary and provides each participant with the headlamp in order to assure that every step during the hiking tour is safe. The itinerary starts with the karstic landscape along the Pag bay towards the beach of Beriknica, one of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Pag. The itinerary continues towards Slana bay, above which you can find a source of drinking water. Afterwards, the tour continues towards Seline Bay, with the possibility of swimming. The tour ends at the starting point, Ručica beach, after returning along the same route.

The tour departs towards Zrće beach, which you will get to experience in a completely new way, in its daily beauty. After passing by the cape of Zrće, the first break for rest and swimming is planned at the beach. You will then continue paddling towards the opposite side of the bay and its landmark Tunera, where the second break and swimming time are planned. Tunera in an old stone tower, formerly used as an observation tower for tuna fish in the Pag bay. Remains of a Romanesque church of St. George are visible above it. Along with the fact that paddling in this bay takes place above the submerged 4th century Roman settlement, this excursion is both fun and historical experience! The tour ends with the return to the starting point.

The bike tour starts in Novalja and takes you through Slatina area to “Kolanjsko blato” ornithological reserve, a wetland habitat known for the abundance and diversity of life forms, particularly birds, with up to 163 bird species, several of them being endemic. The tour continues to Girenica beach, followed by return to the starting point.

The tour begins from Ručica beach near Metajna village. After the guide introduces the guests to the tour and hands them the equipment, the kayak tour embarks towards Slana beach. The glow of the Moon reflecting on the water creates a spectacular scene as you paddle trhough the night. On Slana beach a short break is planned. The moonlight illuminates the surroundings enough to see the contours of the landscape and enjoy the view of the unique environment. After the break the route continues toward Beriknica beach, where a longer break is planned. On the beach every participant receives a refreshing drink, after which follows the return to Ručica beach. Paddling under the light of the full Moon creates the feeling of tranquility and connection to the nature. The reflection of the moonlight is refracted on the waves, creating a magical dance of light and shadow. The water appears to be sparking, which creates an atmosphere you will remember for a long time.

The tour starts from Ručica, following the guide’s introductory instructions, the participants will be given the necessary equipment. Kayaking will start towards the sandy cape Sušac. The first break for swimming is planned on the beach of Sušac. Kayaking continues towards the opposite side of the Pag Bay, surrounded by the spectacular karst landscape and the crystal blue sea. Paddling along the islets of Veli Maškalić and Mali Maškalić, and by passing the rocky hill of Mali Zaton Beach, the pebble beach of Veli Zaton is reached, where is planned the second break for swimming. After the break, the tour continues to the opposite side of the bay to the Gače Cave, about a hundred meters long with an exit to the other side, and kayaking passes through one part of the cave. The route continues to Malin, a secluded pebble beach with a freshwater source in its proximity, and follows the stop for swimming. The last swimming is planned on the Beriknica Beach, known for the natural installation consisting of three unusual rock patterns in the sea, making this beach a recognizable symbol of the island of Pag. After a break, the tour ends by kayaking back to Ručica Beach.

The tour begins at the former ferry dock of Drljanda in Stara Novalja. After the guide shares some introductory information about the itinerary, the participants are given the necessary equipment. The kayaking route starts north-east along the coastline. After passing along Jadra, a beautiful beach where it’s possible to take a break for swimming, the tour continues along the islet of Triget, the underwater cliffs of which reach up to 45 meters. A visit to Slatina, a near-by beach of rocky shores and several freshwater springs, also forms part of the tour. The kayaking continues towards Koromačina Beach, overlooked by a lighthouse. The highlight of the tour are the coves of Veliki and Mali Svetojanj. After taking a break in the coves of Veliki and Mali Svetojanj, the tour continues towards a small, secluded beach called Lusk. Kayaking towards it offers an adventurous experience of passing through a mystical canyon. The last stop of the tour is the beach of Vojska, which has a freshwater spring located right on its shore. The cove of Vojska is shallow, and the coastal belt is slightly descending. Finally, the tour ends by heading back to Drljanda.

Caska beach, located on the north-western part of the Pag bay, is one of the best-known beaches on the island thanks to its shallow sandy bay, and as such it is an exceptional starting point for a guided SUP tour. After receiving introductory instructions and the equipment from the guide, the tour departs towards Zrće beach, the most popular party beach, which you will experience in a completely different way while enjoying the panoramic view from the sea. While paddling towards Zrće beach you will get to know the unique landscape of the Pag bay. The first break for rest and some swimming is planned once you arrive to the beach. After the sunset, colorful lamps under the SUP boards are turned on to illuminate the sea, which enables an unforgettable nocturnal experience of the sea. Approaching the Tunera tower, you will enjoy the view of the shimmering sandy seafloor, and maybe even get to feel a sense of the past while paddling over a submerged Roman settlement. The second swimming break is planned by the Tunera tower. After the break you will return to Caska beach where you can enjoy night swimming.

The hiking tour begins in Kolan and continues along the shepherds’ paths towards the highest peak of the island. Sveti Vid is a rocky hill with remnants of a prehistoric fortress at an altitude of 349 meters, one of the largest prehistoric fortresses on the island. Since the 14th century it has served as a religious site, a small St. Vid’s chapel. It takes about one hour to reach the top and enjoy the fascinating view of the rich diversity of the island of Pag and its archipelago.

The first break for swimming is planned on the beach of Sušac. Kayaking continues towards the opposite side of the Pag Bay, surrounded by the spectacular karst landscape and the crystal blue sea. Paddling along the islets of Veli Maškalić and Mali Maškalić, and by passing the rocky hill of Mali Zaton Beach, the pebble beach of Veli Zaton is reached, where is planned the second break for swimming. The beach offers a spectacular view of Velebit Mountain and the Pag Gate, the passage which connects Pag Bay and the Velebit Channel. After the break, the tour continues to the opposite side of the bay to the Gače Cave, about a hundred meters long with an exit to the other side, and kayaking passes through one part of the cave. The route continues to Malin, a secluded pebble beach with a freshwater source in its proximity, and follows the stop for swimming. The last swimming is planned on the Beriknica Beach, known for the natural installation consisting of three unusual rock patterns in the sea, making this beach a recognizable symbol of the island of Pag. After a break, the tour ends by kayaking back to Ručica Beach.
21.09. Hiking tour Life on Mars Trail + Via ferrata
The tour begins near Metajna, on Ručica beach, one of the most famous beaches of the island of Pag, where the guide will be waiting with all the necessary equipment. The tour departs toward Beriknica beach where the first break is planned. After the break, the tour continues towards Slana bay. As you approach the beach, you will cross the first marine Via ferrata in Croatia. The height of the ferrata is between 1 and 2 metres above the 1m deep sea. It is 100m long and secured by iron rungs and cables. After the Via ferrata, the route continues along the ridge, towards a vantage point where you will have time to relax, take photos and enjoy the view of the stunning moonlike landscape. After the break, return towards the starting point is planned, along the impressive climbing site rock Stogaj.
28.09. Bike tour Novalja field
The programme starts in Novalja and takes you through the field of Novalja up to the drinking water spring called “Škopalj“ close to the church of St. Anton, where you will hear the story of the peculiarities and the significance of the area, both in the past and the present.
